Autonomous Greenscreen Installation

Autonomous Greenscreen Installation

We recently had the opportunity to design an autonomous photo station using greenscreen technology. It’s a large-scale installation developed from “concept” to “execution”. The device is located at the observation deck of the tallest office building in Poland. The entire setup is fully automated, allowing tourists to take their own souvenir photo with a scenic panorama of Wrocław in the background.

Visitors can pay for uploading their photo to Facebook, emailing it, or printing it in 10x15 / 20x15cm formats using coins or contactless payment cards. The device uses greenscreen technology and works regardless of time of day or weather conditions. On the touchscreen, users can choose from a selection of panoramic graphics as their photo backdrop.

The installation includes a steel beam for visitors to sit on while being photographed. The final shots are inspired by the famous 1932 photo “Lunch atop a Skyscraper,” showing 11 workers sitting on a beam on the 69th floor of a New York skyscraper. The photos taken by the system make for a truly unique keepsake, and the fully automated photo-taking process makes the installation extremely user-friendly.

We invite you to experience the installation and wish you unforgettable memories.
