Our photobooth designs use the latest Canon EOS 1300D camera model with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC III lens by default, this is the optimal solution for the photobooth - the lens is bright enough and has a wide viewing angle. The camera is connected to the original permanent power supply, which makes it independent of the battery level (especially important during long events).
The camera in our solution is mounted on a multi-axis holder, which allows you to photograph both small children and very tall people. In addition, you can mount the camera in a vertical orientation and take "tight high frames" - for example, photo ID cards or photographs of entire characters.
The software works with most Canon camera models (a required feature is Live View support). So if you already have a camera, we can mount it to the device (thereby reducing the cost). In this case, please let us know before purchasing.
The use of a digital SLR camera in a photo booth gives a much better effect than using a webcam. The camera allows flexible changes of parameters depending on the light conditions and the effect we want to get in the pictures. The webcam does not allow you to adjust photo parameters - which gives poor results in low light.
If you decide to use our device as a VIDEOBOOTH, we recommend the option of changing the camera to another model, e.g. Canon EOS 200D with 18-55mm IS STM lens or a higher model. This set is distinguished by the function of automatic autofocus which works in continuous mode (this camera, unlike the 1300D, constantly focuses on the object being filmed), it also has the option of connecting an external microphone (Canon EOS 1300D does not have such a connector).
You do not have to change the camera to a more expensive model if you want to use the SLOW MOTION function, during the training we will show you how to achieve this effect using the current camera.
