Another interesting design of a photo installation employing the GreenScreen technology. It is one of the largest projects we have had a change to implement recently.
Due to the site of installation - Palace of Culture and Science - we had to meet strict requirements, such as prohibition to fix the machine to walls, floors, hindered access to utilities, 100% fire and vandalism resistance. The entire structure is self-supporting, making it suitable for installation in any place.
When the photo is taken, the user can select one of many Warsaw panoramic views as the background of the photo on a 55" touch screen. The machine is equipped with the Mitsubishi CP-D90DWP printer that allows to print photos in traditional formats 10x15cm, 15x20cm and as big panoramas.
The system is equipped with additional two large 43" screens displaying preview from the current photo sessions and presenting a slide show with the best photos.
It is already our second project inspired by the famous photo taken in 1932, "Lunch atop a Skyscraper”, presenting 11 workers sitting on the beam of the 69th floor of a New York skyscraper. You can read about the first one here.
The entire system is not sensitive to bad weather :) You can take wonderful pictures even in the worst conditions - when nothing can be seen from the scenic viewpoint. We invite you to use this installation.
