** a huge disadvantage of webcams is the inability to change the "zoom". Webcams have a very wide viewing angle - they are designed to work very closely, i.e. so that the filmed model is about 50-70cm in front of the lens. This is a huge problem when setting the right photobooth frame. The wide frame means that every background is too narrow and the people who take pictures - they stand very close to the photobooth and are very "small" - they do not fill the frame.
